Rendering

I've done some Photoshop rendering work recently, so I thought I'd paste them up onto this blog. I should really try to do more of this work, because I am often required to do these wee jobs as part of larger projects for Fantasy prints. The bottle image was a personal project where I'm just trying to see if I can replicate a photograph of a plastic bottle. I've shown it in three stages, but this bottle could be used to add a packaging label that I may have to design in the future. I have found that presenting graphics on a rendered image has a nicer feel to it that a placing it over a photograph.

AFS Country Store

I recently designed a leaflet for AFS Country Store in Alnwick, Northumberland. They are a traditional family based business with a modern outlook. They suplly and sell country attire from equestrian equipment, outdoor clothing, local knitwear, bespoke furniture and they also have a large range of animal feeds and other agricultural supplies. They offer a very positive and personal service. My task was to create a style for the leaflet that had a traditional feel as well as a modern look. I chose the wood effect, which suggests a refined quality, but I also used the rounded image boxes which gives the overall effect a modern twist.

Cool new website...

I recently enjoyed building a new website for a local customer in Berwick upon Tweed. The Parade School Guest House is a very attractive guest house on Church Street, Berwick upon Tweed. I chose the red coloured background to tie in with their red theme running through some of their interior decor. Very good photography has also given great strength to the flash slide shows.

ScotlandShop

I have been lucky enough over the years to have had the chance to do some design work for scotlandshop , who are a great company selling designer scottish clothing and other tartan stuff. They have a really good business model and sell all over the world. They have a very young edge to their brand and have managed to cater for both modern and traditional needs. I have designed posters, adverts, vehicle graphics and recently I've done some other interesting work.

Recent website build.

I built this website for Dynalogix. Dynalogix can offer home and Business users advice and installaltion on products to secure their systems. They take security serious and to the next level of protection.

This simple site works well for this kind of market. Simple, clear and informative.
