Brand Consistency is always important when designing large amounts of publicity work for various clients. While doing work for Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park I've always tried to keep things consistent. It can be quite a challenge to achieve this when dealing with many different departments of one client.

I've been doing work for Borderline BA for a few years now. While at Fantasy Prints I've design various posters, leaflets, business cards and other marketing material. I did a nice wee Christmas card for them last December too. Based in Duns, Borderline Business Agency do a lot of good work providing temporary and permanent office staff across the borders.
I've been surprised by how few design blogs there are in general never mind just in Scotland. There are absolutely loads of people writing about fashion and art etc, but very few writing about design and marketing. Of course there are the established online versions of The Drum Magazine etc, and most of the large design studios have a blog as part of their main folio website, but I still thought that there would be more people writing about the great work being done right now. With all the great design consultants and brand managers, there doesn't seem to be as much being written about as I thought. -

I've been quite impresed with the work that Bamboo Design Studio have been doing lately. I met Zaigham Zulqernain on one of my annual trips to Toronto couple of years ago. It seems these guys are doing some interesting work in Toronto right now. They've done some great work for Swatch Canada as well as some other top brands. Zaigham is also involved with organising the Toronto Week of Style. I think Bamboo will be a big brand itself very soon...

I was shopping in Edinburgh last Saturday and I caught sight of one of the window stickers that I did for Blair Drummond Safari Park . It's quite cool when you see something that you designed. I was stuck in traffic and the car in front had one on their back window.
